TGIF...a.k.a. BKAD (Blivy kicks ass day)
Ordinary Friday? I think not!!!
So today started as every same old fridays in the past....go to work....busy at work...and looking forward to the weekend. There is an fair/exhibit/seminar going on in our employment services department, so my wonderful kewl supervisor and I decided to go check it out and grab free starbucks coffee and desserts as suggested by our fellow staff member who organized the fair. We popped out of our stuffy office room and headed towards next door all happy to be outdoors for the brief 30 seconds. And then we saw (more like I saw) this lady, hanging outside the bush in front of employment services, pour hot still steaming coffee into the bush and dumped the cup in it as well (supervisor saw smoke in the bush..thinking the bush was burning cus of cigarette buds or something). Now normally..i'm the type to turn a blind eye on these things, due to my chicken-ness to stir crap up...but i guess i was already agitated from my grand boss, who is annoying and killing me due to issues regarding clients..as well as the many phone calls i got this morning.
So I decided to go up to the lady, ask her to pick up the cup, pass it to me, and i can help her put in the trash inside employment centre. At first, she say ya it's finished. I repeated what i sed, and then she sed, why are you asking me to pick it up. I sed, cus I saw you pour the cup of coffee and threw the cup in there. She then sed, why don't you pick it up urself, still refuse to pick it up. I ended up picking up the cups...YES...plural (i think only one was from her)...and started to walk away feeling all angry....BUT i acidentally flung it at the lady..drops of coffee spilled onto her....i dunno where...everywhere i guesss...minimal drops may i add...she was pissed...and starting swearing...don't you ever touch me again..b!tch...i sed..i didn't touch you...and she walked in closer...I was all ready to take her on, supervisor was concerned for me...so she put her arms around me and started to walk me away...lady didn't follow...and we went on our merry way inside...
Needless to say..i was a bit shaken...a bit embarrassed but not sorry about what i did....and apologized to my supervisor having to witness the whole ordeal...she and i started to crack up...and both of us were in disbelief that i actually did what i did...(i hope i didn't scare off my supervisor....altho she did say she was proud and impressed that i did that...she wasn't sure if i had it in me...but now she knows... )
*note to self - do not take out anger on stranger lady on street - even tho she pours coffee in bush*
...lady was only 15 steps (not even) away from a trash can....some people! |
